A wonderfully rich, rustic pasta sauce of free-range pork, confited and shredded into a deeply flavoured base of soffrito vegetables, red wine. It’s familiar enough for a midweek quickie, sophisticated enough to whip out for guests. Toss it through pasta– and don’t hold back on the Parmesan.
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
DEFROSTED: Empty contents into a microwave safe container, cover with cling film & microwave for 3 minutes. Stir & heat for a further 1-2 minutes. FROZEN: Empty contents into a microwave safe container, cover with cling film & microwave for 7 minutes. Peel back the film, stir & heat for a further 2-4 minutes or until piping hot. STOVE TOP: defrost fully & empty into a saucepan & heat through till piping hot.
